FLEXIBLE DATA MANAGEMENT CAPABILITY
AB-20 can comply with any kind of data management on the blood collection scene. With a simple set-up program on PC, you can easily customize AB-20. Up to 1,000 donations of such data together with barcode information are stored in the memory and output from standard RS485 for networking.

BAR CODE READING FUNCTION
RS232 interface is installed for connection of barcode reader, which assists to input various kinds of data to AB-20 easily and quickly.

SIMPLIFIED OPERATIONS
Two preset values can be programmed for quick choice of blood collection volume. Only by pressing START button, AB-20 automatically starts and completes blood collection.

AUTOMATIC BLOOD COLLECTION
Two preset values can be programmed for
quick choice of blood collection volume. Automatic Taring is carried out when the
blood collection starts. During blood collection, well-tested seesaw motion of
the tray assures mixing blood and anticoagulant thoroughly. When the predetermined volume has been collected, the tube clamp closes automatically and an audible alarm informs of the completion.

PRECISE BLOOD VOLUME MEASURING
The collected blood is measured with a
weighing sensor and converted to volume
with the specific gravity of 1.06. The measuring accuracy is better than +/- 1%.

CONTINUOUS BLOOD FLOW CHECKING
AB-20E observes blood flow continuously during the collection. Should abnormal blood flow be detected, both visible and audible alarms are activated to inform of the condition.

BENCH UNIT AND HANDLE UNIT
The Power Unit of HS-03 can accept either
the Bench Unit, which enables touch-actuated automatic sealing, or the Handle Unit, which has the excellent mobility to reach the sealing part. Both units are with 1.9-meter cable. The sealing electrodes are safely housed and easily accessible for routine cleanings.
